{Easter 2011}

This was the first Easter without my Grandma and it was strange.  Getting the family together is not always easy - everyone has busy lives; however when we get together it is NONSTOP laughing.  Egg hunt, a lot of food, sweets, and fuzzy bunny contest.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter I know I sure did.  Spending time with family is priceless.

{Weekend hike}

Saturday I took my little one on a scout outting to a local Seminole Indian Reservation.  This was an extremely awesome trip.  We learned a lot and went on a beautiful hike.  Well this reservation was over one and a half hours away and noticed about 45 minutes in that I left my camera at home!  {insert me kicking myself in the butt}  Well had to make the best of it with my cell phone.  The sights were beautiful.

After this great day spent with my son we stopped by my parents house to see their new BBQ area.

Well that was my busy Saturday.

The last weekend of spring break and we decided to hit the beach, Ft. Myers beach to be exact.  The weather could not have been more beautiful!  We even vistied the Edison/Ford Museum. 

Of course you have to pick Thomas Edison's nose right?  Classy kid - hey Mom take the picture now!

Hotel pools are the best for some reason - per a 10 year old!

The weather was like this ALL weekend

Low tide at the beach was perfect

Mom got to put her toes in the sand

And watch the 10 year capture hermit crabs

The water kept leaving us! 

Which made for awesome finds - seacreatures - we put him in the ocean
